    I have a Leica 2000-b. I really like it, except when the unit stop giving you drop info past 800 yards , as they assume that the shot are becoming unethical . At least a good phone app could probably take over from there. And it can still range close to the 2000 yards.
    But as said above, 800 yards is probably fare enough to take a shot at a deer.
