ok experimented and testing here
Bingo
You've figured it out. But under the go advanced tab additional options there's attachments, lick manageattatchments and it will tell you the maximum size of a variety of file types
Perfect
Still looks great and its only 200kb's (20% of 1 MB)
I am getting pissed at all the 4-6 MB pics as I am on limited Rural Broadband
Speed is not bad - but some threads I cant fully load
Cost however is not cheap
Hey Sarvo I hadn't taken notice of the file size but since your comment ill try remember to keep em on the small side for those who are connection challenged. Cheers
Tapatalk has solved that problem for you @Sarvo . Free use limits you to photos so shitty they look semi pixelated

What size and format was the photo you got to work? I'm having the same issue with jpg files that are 2mb.
Does anyone else know how to modify them on Mac?
I usually upload photos from my computer, open them up in Paint (Windows PC) and click on the 'resize' button and change it to around 50% or less. That brings the jpg files down to around 1mb for me (depending on the initial file size). But I suppose I could reduce them further. Click save and upload. A few steps but has worked fine for me.
Do them as copies so you can save your original.
@JL12 Photo was around 4mb to start with and is now under .5mb. I have windows and was just able to right click on photo select edit then resize from there. was a bit of a guess on how far to go but with the preview function on here could check what it looked like before posting. No experience with big Mac! cheers
