    Redarc manager 30 need fixing

Sent the trusty manager 30 away over Christmas as it was doing everything it was suppose to minus charging up my aux battery, guys initially thought it might be the Shunt but they opened it up and found a toast part in on the circuit and Redarc has said they don’t do the repair, I’m now heavily out of pocket and can’t afford to get another or even a BCDC charger atm.

Now to the point , anyone know a company in nz I can send it to that’s happy to try fix it? I’m happy to pay for a fix but don’t want to spend $1000 fixing it. Any help would be appreciated

Do you know why it failed? Might be another question worth asking before you do anything with it.

I could quite possibly get you a photo of one that doesn’t have any damage if that would help?

Not 100% what caused it but it’s to do with my solar, I’ve run it over the last few years without any issues, I didn’t get an exact rundown from Redarc but they said it was most likely solar related and that they don’t fix them to this level

send me the numbers on the semiconductors to the right of the burnt out ones.

but you might be better installing a seperate mppt solar controller. avoid the pwm type
