Thread: Rename "Firearms Safety" to "Firearms laws and politics"?

Just a thought - 99.9% of the Firearms Safety section is politics and law discussion. Never made sense to me why it was called Firearms Safety. On other forums they have politics and legal sections separated so it's straight forward to find information. Given how poorly defined and circuitous the laws are here, having a defined space to discuss it would be helpful.

The simple answer is because one of the few rules on this forum is "No Politics" yes occasionally a few threads slip through either unnoticed or are allowed to run their course due to relevance and occasionally the blurred line between firearms Law and Politics, that doesn't mean it's open slather on all Politics.
So in short no we won't have a firearms Law and Politics section, if you want legal advice on your ownership and use of firearms seek it from your own legal adviser not someone's opinion on the interwebs.
The firearms saftey section is supposed to be for questions and information about firearms safety, it won't be changing anytime soon.
Never hurts to ask but that's your answer in a nutshell
