@Trout
Could you please screenshot the 3 horizontal lines you mention? I'm running android and not seeing what you're describing.
Most android phones allow screen shots by pressing the power and volume down button at the same time. Both buttons need to be pressed at exactly the same time for the screenshot function to work. Your phone might be a bit different so you may need to look up your make/model for how to take screenshots.
@Spanners Any chance you're able to look into this?
So far I've tried on three separate PCs using Chrome, Edge, and firefox.
I've also tried on one android phone using chrome, and an iphone using safari.
For each of these I've wiped history, cookies, site data, cache, and site settings for each browser.
If I had to guess, it's an account setting that I can't access because I don't have a settings option in mobile.
Because I'm stuck in mobile I can't post photos, so I'm going to have to post links to the screenshots of what I'm seeing.
In all cases when I arrive at the home page when not signed in, I can see the full site, on PC’s android, and iphone:
When I sign in it switches to the mobile loading page, even when I’m on a PC:
If I go to the bottom of the page and click “Full Site”
I just get returned to the top of the Mobile site page
As an aside, in mobile I can’t access site settings, so if it’s an internal setting, there’s no way for me to get in there to undo it.
Also I can’t post photos in mobile mode, so there’s no way for me to comply with the forum rules requiring me to include photos when selling items.
Also any notifications I get just fail to load, so I have no idea who is tagging me in threads because I can’t follow the links to them.
*No way for me to load photos to the NZ hunting and shooting website - I can still externally host them and link them to the post, but it's annoying to do.
I've also tried Project's link to get to settings (https://www.nzhuntingandshooting.co....do=editoptions) but I get an error saying I can't edit profile options in mobile view:
I am stuck in the same boat surely admin can change our settings?
I suspect it's account related, rather than device/browser, since it's occurring across devices and browsers, and includes devices that have never been used to browse NZ hunting and shooting.
Who is the website manager? My guess is they'll know how to fix it.
Thank you I seem to be all sorted now
