Thread: What courier or transport company will cart a rifle in nz ?

Avoid Aramex if you can... I had two rifles being shipped D2D Chch to Wellington - apparently 2-3 days delivered is standard. Picked up Tuesday 9:30am, departed Chch Depot 12:30pm, estimated delivery on Friday... 5 full days later, and it's still not even at the Wellington Depot yet. Maybe ferry cancellations?

I've spent today sharpening some sticks for the day trip I'm due to go on tomorrow.

Anyway, Aramex evidently do it, and the FA Officer I rang about getting the forms was surprised I wasn't getting it sent direct to my address... I got the impression you didn't need the form if you already owned the firearm... or maybe you still need the form (which was surprisingly easy), but could get it sent direct to your address. I'd already arranged with the dealer here, so didn't want to mess them round.
