I just opened it as usual, and it asked me to log in/register, despite my user name showing as being already logged in. :wtfsmilie:

HAve you clicked the little box that says remember me or stay logged in? if so it maybe your computer clearing its cache and cookies and when it does that you have to log back into the forums you frequently visit.
Yep, I always click the little box . Same computer for the last 6 months and never done it before. :(
Sometimes it will 'forget you' when there is a browser update, I get it a lot with Firefox. Normally takes a few minutes for the forum to figure out you are no longer connected and you can have an update install over that time if you have closed the browser.
I have a habit of not logging off at times. I,m sure others may think that I have collapsed over the bloody key board from trying to keep up with the young bucks on here.
I never log off cos I always forget my password
