    WTB: Boots

I need new boots, but what? I got wide feet and travel light, don't walk in the snow, current boots are Oliver ATs great for my feet but are noisy and they are my work boots.
Most of my time is in Kawekas
Any recommendations on a wide fitting boot?
I've been in a few shops tried a lot on and all to tight an all staff were of no real use.

    Cheers
    Paddy

Go and try on as many pairs as you can. Everyone's feet are different.
Experience. What you get just after you needed it.

A few years back I bought Lowa. Still wearing them. Lightweight, excellent comfort and interior feels like the boots have moulded to my feet. Can be a tad slippery on wet de-barked trees or water-polished rocks. Paid about $400 then. Would buy again.

skellerup Ashleys thats the higher version of laceup rubber gumboots
    $140ish a pair
awesome grip in the wet......if you hunt most weekends a pair will last a season/year before tread is poked and then they still good for muck around boots, once mine get to that I heat 6" nail and burn hole through sole/sides to let water out when Im using them for river work.
chuck a pair of gaiters over top and the laces will last longer and it helps to protect rubber from likes of bush lawyer.
if its persisting down with rain keep long pants OUTSIDE the gaiters and your feet will stay dry all day.
in the middle of summer on stinking hot day they get warm stopping for break and let feet air out worth while (good chance to eat ya lunch and glass for animals)
no worse than leather boots in this reguard.
