Hi all, about a year ago I brought this fully suppressed and ported (so shoots HV bullets at Sub-sonic speeds) .22 for shooting around home for birds, rabbits, etc and being nice and short it fits in my Can-am nicely.
I always found it shot well enough for me and never tested it to much on targets but it normally always hit what I needed and if it didn't I would just blame the distance and trajectory of the sub-sonic.
I have always found reading on this forum about some guns just don't like some ammo and you should try different ammo etc etc but always thought it was a bit over the top for me and my little .22. Well I have just about finished my second box of Blazer Ammo (the big 525 value packs) and went of to get some more but they had nothing in stock so walked away with some Winchester Power-Point hollow point 40 grainers and thought I would have a bit of a play today. Now I am by no means a good shot but just enjoy shooting and this was my findings.
The shooting platform (normally just shoot of the steering wheel while sitting in the seat).
The range (48 meters)
A few shots with the Blazer ammo
First shot with the Winchester ammo
Then a 5 shot with the Winchester ammo
So all in all im glad I had a wee play and will be using the Winchester from here on.
And please there is no need to comment on my writing and spelling skills as I already know (my old school reports make it very clear).
