Pick up a box of 223 Hornaday black 75 gr , hoping to a couple of rounds through my tikka 1-8 twist to see how it goes, any one had any experience with this and use on animals?

Kills well, I trailed these bullets alongside the sierra 77gr TMK and SMK on goats and deer.

They all worked well but the 75gr bthp was the best killer and had the most uniform expansion.

expect lots of core separations.
