So I did this exercise for @GSP HUNTER, but to be accurate I really need the MV, which is a bit of a lottery from unmeasured factory ammo.

That minor issue aside, the model shows that "bang on at 250yd" is a bit optimistic, because the peak to line of sight is the best part at 4" at 140yd.

Better to go bang on at 200yd, have a peak to line of sight of 1.5" at 120yd and -3.5" at 250yd.

A 250yd shot is therefore a hold on the crest of the shoulder, and the goat is dead. Easier to hold over than under in my experience.

So I've asked him if he can do a drop test and that will give us an MV.
