About LinkBackssilly question....was there a 25/08 made??? it would sit between .243 and .260 would it not??

Yes the 25 Souper, very popular in the states for a couple of decades

I also had mine rechambered to AI but there was very little gain . The .25 Cal just needs a better new range of projectiles like the Ace 131 from Blackjack.
