    Hi,
How much was the husken moderator? And is it any better than the local alternatives?

Shooting good, is there much difference between the 270/ 130gr and the 264/ 130gr, judging by those velocities there isn't. Did you get a marked increase in velocity with the higher powder charge?

You should get 3300 easy with the 130's I get 3100 with a mild load of N560, N570 would probably be better,I'll be trying the 142 Eld when I get back home mine's an old Parker Hale action with a1-8 twist barrel and really likes the 140 amax and gameking.

    Hi All ,
    And thanks for your replies!!!
To answer some of your questions , the hausken was £250 here in the UK .
Heres the data with the 130 grain tipped matchkings / federal 215 magnum primers / Retumbo powder.
    66 grains = average velocity =2972fps
    66.5 grains = 2997fps
    67 grains = 3023fps
    67.5 grains = 3050fps
    68 grains = 3069fps
    68.5 grains = 3109fps
    69 grains = 3130fps
    ............................................
Have loaded some at 69.5 and 70 grains to see how they shoot and velocity!!
Any more 264 winmag shooters here??? if so lets see your rigs
    All the best ,
    Ray.

    Hi ALL ,
First of all , many thanks for the photo and replies!!
Not been on here for a few weeks ( naughy boy lol ) and hope you are all keeping well!!!
Bought some 142 grain Hornady EDL-X to try in her and unfortunately she does not like them - as they are £60 a box here it was sure a pisser!!! lol
Picked up some 130 grain Hornday EDL-M and they sure look promising!!!
