Away hunting in weekend and had couple spare hours , so thought would try some mid range testing with the 308 , started first shot at 100 yds then 270 yards and final shot at 375yrds ,realised after I probably dialed about 1/2 minute to much on 375 shot as slightly uphill , still pretty happy with group.Attachment 113669
Good shooting, especially with those TTSX bricks :)
They seem to kill everything good but are hard and always pass right through going to try another bullet any suggestions?

Small Harris bipod up front and tent bag under butt .
168 or 178 ELD-M would do you well too.
Dialed up a bit much but happy with group.

Oath, im not sure i could even see your aiming point at 500 yds.
You must have a big arse scope.
i use the 140 ttsx in my savage 7mm08,with excellent results 3 group touching at 100 metres and they sure hit hard at close quarters
Haven't tried those yet ,I have not had a fail with the TTSX 130's yet so cant really bag them , they hit them hard and always pass through, , getting 2950 out of 20inch barrel so they are fair humming alongQuote:

nice shooting. I second the 168 ELDM. In my 20" .308 doing 2650 with a below max load of 2206H I find it really accurate and reliable.
