Good thing we don't see much of that ammo in NZ. The Aussie F4 is usually good for under 1.5", and the South African is about the same if somewhat hotter. Everything else is somewhat less than that in terms of accuracy, but if I was getting those sort of groups out of a prepared rifle like an M24 I'd be a little upset. Standard M700's like the Tactical series when in a decent stock will usually drop 0.5" groups or thereabouts with good match ammo, and I was getting a little over an inch on F4 ball. Blowing out a whole 2" when using M80 ammo is nasty.
My old FAL Sniper loved F4 and consistently shot 0.75 MOA (thanks for the memories Cindy!)
my SLR loved the SA PMP ammo, ate a blister pack every week for years
Good memories, feeding the SLR with the SA-made R1M1 mil stuff - though had to close up the gas port more than F4 - so for me the F4 was alot hotter - though never had much of it...
Pity the R1M1 ammo shot like crap out of the 308 bolt action - 2.5 MOA at best!!
That ball stuff all went along with the SLR - we know who to thank...
