World record eh? I wonder if they have a limit on the number of shots it takes to hit it or do they just keep lobbing them down there until one hits???

Much like red stag heads there is a record for everything..... forget the record it is irrelevant american crap.

But I did enjoy the vid and the fact they didnt try to make out it was a first round hit.

The guy and his team waited the end of a good day, when the wind dies down to do his shooting .
On the third attempt he put his third and forth bullet into the target.
Their next challenge is 4 km!!!

cant see the point myself -if the bloody targets that far away -ring your friendly artilleryman and get em to dust off the old 105mm howitzer and lob a round onto the target -wouldnt just hit it -it'd fuck the thing completely.more than a little ego massaging going on me thinks!

And that attitude/post is why we don't see our local guys posting about their successes. If you are not into it thats fine, but why put those that are down? To 'me' what you have posted is pointless. Just my opinion of course
