    6.5 Creedmoor at 800+

For all you chaps who have moved into one of the light 6.5 options.

    140 Amax.

This build has been easy right from the outset, it just shoots so good.

Low recoil/ high BC/ and the KRG stock allows me to be very consistent.

As always shot placement is key.

    Nice.

What are your plans with the Amax discontinued please. Long-range 6.5 builds may need a re-think ?

Good shooting. One of the finest displays of consistently good long range shooting that I have ever seen was with a 6.5.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

I'm not questioning the new bullets accuracy. If the 1400-1800 ft/sec window for fragmentation is gone then that is 200m off the extreme range for all 6.5mm chamberings and behaviour not much different than from the Berger offerings.

his mates where not hanging around for more of the same.
I think your goat population may need to see the shrink for ptsd
    Stay off the ridgeline.
The only good assumption is to assume that movement, shape, colour, sound, is always human. Follow this rule and identify your target.

I would gather the animal still died. Would be better off using a TSX or similar if you are concerned about that.
