Thread: 6.5 ELDM 147g any good for hunting?

I'm using the 140ELDM in my Creedmoor. It seems a little more user friendly to load for and with better velocities than the 143 ELDX. The ELDM also shoots tighter groups. Terminal performance on Deer is very good. At least as good as the ELDX, probably better, especially at longer ranges, they may be a little too explosive on larger animals at short range. I think if I was bush hunting I would choose another projectile.
