They are good value, but like all mil spec AR,s the trigger will probably be the first thing you would like to swap out. They seem to like the heavier pills 60grain and up and if you are hand loading they can be very accurate.
I have the 18" DMR version. It is excellent quality and shoots very well. I am very happy with the rifle especially considering it only cost me $2k brand new.
I've got a 14.5" one. It shoots like a laser with hornady steel case 55gr. It likes 69gr match projectiles (sub MOA), but also shoots just over MOA with my progressive press produced hornady 55gr blasting loads. Realistically it is a far more accurate rifle than I am a shooter.
My one bit of advice is that the standard AR mil-spec trigger sucks balls on all ARs, though. Get yourself a decent match trigger and good glass, and you'll be very happy with an NEA.
