Hi,
I make a fully suppressed 410, as has been mentioned on here, in order to achieve a reasonable level of suppression the ammo must be running at sub-sonic speeds.
The design that I have developed has extensive porting of the barrel, so you just use STANDARD off the shelf ammo (2 1/2 or 3"), it internally drops the speed to below the speed of sound and other internal features suppress the sound further. The report is somewhat akin to what you hear from a well suppressed 22 running on subsonic ammo.
I did develop the same with a 12G and whilst it worked well was just not cost effective to produce.
We have a supply issue with the Optimas and Eternals that I was using so are currently in the process of developing a new model based on the Rossi Montenegro which should sorted early in the New year.
Can I send you my rossi 410 to be suppressed ?
Cheers Terry
