    Approved Steel Targets??

So pretty much every range in NZ seems to have in their Standard Range orders only approved steel targets maybe used ... Does anyone know of some approved targets??

For example I was looking at:

    Deadeye Dicks - Targets

    Cheers !!

How can you have an approved target?
Setting up of said target is far more important from a safety perspective.

Fair point and agreed - but that seems to be the standard copy and paste range order: Approved steel target

Unless your planning on setting up a public range then approved is what you use

You might find that approved steel targets are those approved by the club committee...

I think the targets must be suspended in such a way as to deflect the projectile down into the ground and not up into the air or straight back to the shooter . ie they have to be suspended from the top and must be able to swing back to deflect the projectile down . I am not sure if steel poppers that are hinged at the bottom, are legit any more , maybe a cowboy action shooter or a silhouette shooter can help with this?
