So pretty much every range in NZ seems to have in their Standard Range orders only approved steel targets maybe used ... Does anyone know of some approved targets??
For example I was looking at:

How can you have an approved target?
Setting up of said target is far more important from a safety perspective.

You might find that approved steel targets are those approved by the club committee...

I think the targets must be suspended in such a way as to deflect the projectile down into the ground and not up into the air or straight back to the shooter . ie they have to be suspended from the top and must be able to swing back to deflect the projectile down . I am not sure if steel poppers that are hinged at the bottom, are legit any more , maybe a cowboy action shooter or a silhouette shooter can help with this?
Get as close as you can then six feet closer
