Interlock has a reasonable bc for a lead tip (if that matters) and perform well on game.

Simontrevor - Honestly, for 200mtrs and less it is not going to make ANY difference at all from a ballastic or even terminal performance point of view what bullet you use. The velocities you will be running vs the range you have specified mean that literally any bullet you use, bar a very few extreme's, will be fine.

Find whatevever you can get your hands on easily that shoots 1.5 or even 2 moa or better in your rifle and go kill shit.

I agree with all the above especially about shooting deer.
Reading on many forums in Canada/ America one would be led to believe a 180 grain travelling at 3000+FPS is necessary to harvest deer.
That is untrue. I have taken most of my deer with a Sierra 85 grain out of a .243. Never lost a deer or a pig. All shot in head neck or chest so no surprises there...I have lost one deer using a 7mm08. That was with a 139GMX. It dropped. Then up and off...! Tracked it 1km with my dogs, lost it at a creek in tee tree. A sick feeling indeed.

The main thing is placing the shot. Shooting at a deer is one thing. Shooting a deer is a different story. Placing the bullet. I love reading this sort of stuff. It's interesting getting feedback from all.
especially with regards to projectile choice.
I use Barnes in my 308. It's nice to shoot and is accurate out to 300m. Thanks Vietnamcam for that one! Currently loading up a 7mm slug using Amax 162gn mainly for fun and to hopefully use soon. The deer are beginning to roam...use each or either. The main thing is get to know the rifle. Shoot it HEAPS and cher bro.
