The latest version of Ballistic: Advanced Edition has a new wind input.
I don't understand the inputs with velocity and upwind values.
Does anyone have an idea how this is used?

The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds
The upwind is just that (or downwind) to adjust for wind coming up/down off a ridge/valley. Haven't had a look at the other one you asked about though...

If it's not a first round hit you need to practice more
Velocity is referring to windspeed (horizontal value) and upwind is the vertical windspeed value (if any)

Starting to become more familiar with Shooter anyway. I think I like it better with a more flexible interface for milrad output.
Is Shooter giving good values? I have yet to hear anyone bagging it.
