Thread: The barrett can shoot.

A while back I asked advice on Barrett feildcrafts, and found out they were not made anymore. Then I found there was still a new one for sale in NZ and in the cal I wanted.
Initially i set up the scope on a rail while I tracked down mounts and a random stranger in South Africa was very decent and sent me a set he had at no cost which was amazing.
When I set it up on the rail I knew it could shoot but didnt do alot with it as it was always going to be temporary and the trigger was over 4lb. Finally I got my act together and purchased a decent torque wrench as Barret are very firm in stipulating the front and rear action screw lbs, before fitting the scope in the new mounts and removing the stock to adjust the trigger down too 2lb.

Sighted it in tonight. Fair to say Im pretty happy.



Out of curiosity, What would you measure that group as?
