@Russian 22. the Belmont 55gr soft point works good. It's surprisingly consistent.

I currently have a lot of barnaul around. It works well.

Although the close range goats I have shot have tended to just blow up and spread the copper jacket all over the place like a frag grenade. Maybe it's juts too close. They still died pretty quick.

Not yet, I'm still in the experimental stage for this rifle, I won't take it on any sort of hunt until I'm happy with the overall load be it these or some handload I'm preparing.

I got 100 rounds of this stuff. If I get to the range today I will run it over the chrony with a 14.5, 16" and 20" barrel.

See that 50fps per inch rule of thumb is still pretty reliable

Those are pretty damn reasonable numbers for bulk pack remanufactured ammo. Kudos Belmont.

Top left, 5 shots CMMG 16", Eotech (unmagnified). Pretty good aren't I.

Middle group, 14.5" Faxon pencil barrel, 5x Leupold Mk4

Another 5 shots with the 14.5"

Good enough for the purpose of these rifles. No doubt could do better with a higher mag scope. Now to game test.

    Interesting results there, thanks Beavis

good velocities, quite a bit faster than the Hornady Steel Match 75 gr BTHP I chrono'd in 18.5" and 20" barrels.

Yeah sorry mate @300-BLK , tomorrow night.
@Beavis, Maybe my lower 3000 figures with a full lenght barrel and muzzle forward suppressor wasn't too far off
    Cheers.

I wonder which powder they are using? SMP maybe? The research I have done suggests it is St Mark 763, which is the same as Alliant MR 2000 from memory. It is a warm load.
