Thread: Best Ballistics app (Post Strelok era)

Hi all,
After reading/ listening to a bunch of great reviews, i went onto the Apple app store with great enthusiasm, to download Strelok, only to find it has been removed!

Whats the next best app that people are using?

I'm using hornady 4DOF, seems pretty so far.

Applied Ballistics.................but it not free (worth the cost though)

Hornady 4 dof has had some pretty extensive work and research put into it. After strelok, I’d use 4dof

Again for applied ballistics bullet drop is extremely basic but seems to be bang on

using Geo Ballistics, does the job well enough

Knights armament “ bulletflite”

I have used the whole lot ever since they have been coming out.
So take it or leave it applied ballistics is the most upto date best ballistic software on the market end of story.
I don't know much about fuckall but ballistic software I do.
It is the most expensive but it is also incredibly resourced .

+1 for 4DoF, unless you have a Garmin watch, in which case TruFlite - for the simple reason that it’s so much better having it in your wrist.

Is that on the older models? Mine runs applied ballistics (1 year old)

I use regularly balistic are . And I just got Chairgun elite which replaces strelock. It is a exactly the same with a few extra features.
I also have AB on the kestrel

Fenix 6 Pro. Don’t think AB is available for that. For what I use it for, TruFlite is close enough

Just downloaded Chairgun elite, looks like the ducks nuts! be interesting to see how goes at the range. id never even heard of it before.

I would be wary of using that, those sites are illegal and are usually rife with malware. I scanned a couple of those downloads with virus total and both came back with bad stuff in them.
