Best factory ammo I've ever seen, chur chur

Right'o for those that don't wanna or can't be fuked reloading, if ya running a 308 try this Sako ammo, this stuff shoot's amazing ( I think many on here know this already, lol ) but hopefully will help someone out when it comes to finding a decent factory ammo, as it's bloody expensive nowadays. although this old school lead tipped stuff is $70 -75 a box so great value at today prices.

These groups were shot @ approx 120 yards

Suppressed Howa Superlite off a real basic bipod = .55 moa

Yep couldn’t agree more, use the same in a tikka 308 with a dpt and VX3, constantly half to 3/4 MOA regardless of clean dirty hot or cold, never had anything like it with factory ammo.

The gamehead are copies of Sierra Gamekings made under license by Sako themselves

    Extremely reliable projectiles

That is pleasing. I decided to go with the Sako 165gr rounds this time. Not fired one yet, but I will soon!

To be fair I have found every sako factory round in many calibers and flavors to shoot incredibly well in a range of rifles.
Currently their 140gn blade ammo (copper mono) shoot sub 1/2 moa 3 shot groups in my bergara rem mag, great low recoil option for younger shooters and even older shooters at sensible ranges.
The other thing I have noticed with sako factory ammo is that it is extremely consistent with ES and SD figures most hand loaders wouldn't be too displeased with.
I have shot them in 308win, 270win, 30-06 and rem mag and in plenty of different rifles (most not sako's) haven't found a rifle that didn't like it yet.
Most of all it seems to be kept in stock fairly regularly.
Thanks for the reminder Philip phlop, I may go back to using these in my 308win whilst I concentrate on tuning my rem mag

Their 7/08 is the most accurate factory ammo I've used. Shoots real slow but. Been reloading the factory brass and haven't culled a single case after 4 relatively stiff loads.

You have a combination of nice pliable necks in the brass from recent manufacture, gives the same effect as annealed necks

Velocity aimed at the second accuracy node at mid velocity that’s not the last accuracy node at full velocity

And a projectile design with proven accuracy benefits across a wide range of throat leade types

Don’t forget the gameking was originally made for 600 yard competition in conjunction with ADI 2208

Those of you using both the GK and 2208 have a USA competition tested combo.

Yes, saw a box at the range the other day - $160 if I recall for the 50-round box. Basic packing - just a cardboard box with no round separation at all so no good if you're planning on flying commercially...
