It loved the old Magtech 40grain subs. Still got a few bricks of them saved for a rainy day.

I have a new 78/06 and it likes the same ammo. (I should say liked as I am long since out of it and cannot get more...)

Tim - is the 78/06 the heavy barrel version. That's a rifle I'd like.

Mind you - range tested the standard Toz model 78 a while back and its an ideal bolt action 22 for NZ conditions.
