    Oh... I actually got to the end of the 50rds, the rins had moved and the scope shifted with the recoil over 20mm forward, as well as the base of the rings were just finger tight.... could have been my dumb self doing too much at once and thinking I had already torqued up the base to rail when I hadn't... plus the 17inch lb scope rings.... in other words, nothing was super tight, the rings moved over 20mm and the base of the rings were.... movable

    aha the old loose scope - practising for the DOC shoot many years ago my tikka .222 started to shoot like shit - awnser metal seriously loose in wood - bugger

    Ahhh the good ol annual Wgtn Conservancy FS/DOC range shoot with aftermatch hangi/pissup in the name of 'team building'.All the hunting crews rock up to try to retain your professional reputation amoungst all the other guns.Reef off a heap of tax payers' trebly down range in the quest for the trophy.Most years had my eye in so didn't disgrace myself.Good memories
