well just like the chronigraph can make you doubt your nice accurate load
thinking that you need to use a torque wrench to do up scope rings is the same...Ive never had a scope move in rings...and hand torqued up is it....why over complicate what isnt that complicated??? just do the plurry things up firmly and be happy.....weaver clip over mounts have been good to me for years....if really worried scope is going to shift,by all means put drop of adheisive on the join between scope n rings...single drop on the top should be more than enough....
