    Ch ch range this weekend

    Is any one going to the range this weekend I'm desperate ( as in excited) to sight in my new 223 . I'm not a member of either ranges yet as I'm still undersided which one is for me . it's also lambing and don't want to bother farmers . Cheers Munsey

    I can get you into the handloaders range on Saturday. Pretty much any time you like as not too far away.

    How did you get on with sighting the 223? Were you happy with the results?
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire

    Rule 5: Check your firing zone

    Appart from a lot of copper fouling gun went good , inch groups occasianly . The clown pulling the trigger needs improvement. I was surprised how nessary a supresser will be , will hope it will improve my aim too

    I'd be keen to do the same if anyones heading out there.

    Munseys main problem was only the comparative size of the holes to the gaps between said holes. There did seem to be a lot of white between them through the spotting scope, but when we actually got to the targets my 20mm wide thumb could nearly fit in the gap so we're looking at 1" groups. They did open up a bit after a few rounds but a rest and clean had them back down again.
