Hi there, does anyone know if this range still has their public open nights, or are they still closed? Also do they have a chronograph there at all.
Thank you all

Yes, the public nights are back on. No chronographs though, so BYO. If you want to use a chronograph it is probably easier to hit up a member to take you some other time when things tend to be a bit quieter.
There are only three types of people in this world. Those that can count, and those that can't!
Not wishing to steal any thunder from Handloaders but the NZDA range next door have a
Labradar available on club and public days. Next Public day is Saturday 8th June.
Does the NZDA range have access outside of club and public days for members?
Yes, via the listed RO's in your newsletters.
Thanks gadgetman and nz_noddy only need to use about 5 rounds to get a speed for a be load.
excuse my ignorance @NZ_noddy, but does that mean you would need to organise access through and have a RO present everytime you want to shoot? if you wanted to muck around for a half a day sometime with a handful of rifles and loads, or go every second day for a week or 2 while cooking up a load that could get quite annoying for the poor ROs. or is the range just more taylored just for the club shoots?
As it stands, yes. If you're a keen reloader you should become a NZDA Range Officer which would give you access to the range
in the way you describe. Alternatively, purchase a long narrow piece of countryside to call your own :-)
Or join the NZ Handloaders club and once your a member you can pretty much go shoot there when ever you want. 24/7
Shut up, get out & start pushing!
