I've had my share of foam and tape before. Now I like things looking 'nice', and that's the job I'd do if I had to.

Yip, that DIY built-in adjustable cheekpiece is very nice and much better in form and function than some of these strap-on devices.
I'm sure that's true for other things as well... but please no ... jokes.

Yes, some nice ideas in here, I inspired to do something on my m77 as I have been resting my jawbone on the stock for the last 20 years. Bit worried I'll start missing animals if I change it though.

This worked for me too. I mounted it too far forward so the bolt is a little tricky to get in, but if I wasn't cheap and sprung for some new double sided tape to refit it, it would be perfect.

Identify your target beyond all doubt because you never miss (right?) and I'll be missed.

The neoprene sleeve idea I like - also would help to dampen the noise a hollow synthetic stock makes in the bush... If you used a spearo suit you could get it in camo haha.

I have one of those kydex(?) plastic sheet ones that come with some hollow threaded tube that goes into the butt stock and you use two thumb screws on each side to give you an adjustable cheek rest. It came on an HS Precision stock I got so weight not a factor, but I don't use it as an adjustable - it is hard down bottomed all the time. Looks tidy and like it came with the stock, but it just isn't much use as an adjustable as it's high enough as is. I wouldn't get another - but the neoprene idea I would use.

I've got one of these https://kalixteknik.com/ . Bit pricey but works well and was easy to fit. Also use a twin needle stock pack on another rifle.

@Oldbloke Made it myself from one of my son's old wetsuits.

You can make them easier from an adults full length wetsuit. Cut either an arm or leg section tight enough to fit snuggly over the butt stock.

Here's a nice professional, cost effective comb raising kit: https://stagersport.co.nz/collection...tooth-products

Choice of many colours, with or with ammo loops, includes multiple height adjustment spacers.

    Cheers
