Not the safest of experiments for these guys but certainly had me surprised how long the rifle lasted before failure.

Good video, man that thing ran well up until it broke. What a hell of a waste wrecking that rifle. And I was also just waiting for him to lose an eye - testing to destruction, without eye-pro - good life choices

Gold. Did it start in 1944 and is still going? Torture testing a mosin would be torture for you more than for the rifle, your shoulder would just be one big bruise

No he loads it up with really hot charges and different powders until he totals it he does use a bit of string tied to the trigger on that one

Yeah that's marginally safer. I'd be interested to see something similar with a 6.5 mauser, to try and understand why they make factory loads for it so piss weak

His conduct of the AR test was pretty dodgy. Why wouldn't you just use something like a lead sled/ formed bench rest, then all you have to do is action the weapon and pull a string-instead of praying that your safety spectacles protect you when the barrel bursts

Reason why factory 6.5x55 ammo is so weak from what I understand is because of the krag actions they were weaker than the M96 so ammo was downloaded in pressure to stop the krags from stuffing out, Stiga arms used to use the M96 action to build sporting rifles in 270, 30-06, 308 etc

Now it's the AK's turn... Interesting compared to the AR.
