Thread: Does a spotting scope need a reticle to be useful for long range shooting?

    Great question mate. Like most everyone else is saying. Any spotting scope is great to get eyes down range on a target. Unknown distance targets can get tricky and a scope with mil dots make for easy adjustments. Not necessary but it just depends on the shooter / spotter.
