Another reason FOR having a reticle in a Spotter , is for making measurements & adjustment of a zero , with out having to walk to the target & measure with a ruler .
Just did that today , with a realitively low power , fixed 10x40 MST-100 scope today , I knew that FFP scopes of 15x or more where very handy at 100m when doing a zero , BUT the higher power spotter with reticle is even more handy , dosnt matter , what scope adjustments are , you can always do a quick conversion , or approx it .
So if you have terrain that is tricky or a bit of a pain , the reticle comes in real handy , making less trips up to the target area .
Had a shot at 200yds , and saw the shot 1 full mil left , so just cranked on 3.5 moa on windage & its done .
