Electronic earmuffs group buy - who's interested?

As seen on the 'other forum' - an electronic earmuffs group buy was organised and I missed the out being the sixth person to show interest. $

These are the earmuffs in question - Howard Leight | Impact Sport

In terms of price -they are $49.99US and postage is $21US + $4 for each extra pair. However, can only limit the order to 5 pairs to keep the total order under $400 NZD to avoid customs.

Aaron B off the 'other forum' placed an order last night for 5 pairs and got stung $362.78 - so that's just over $70 a pair.

Any interest - thinking they'd be the business for the range / duck shooting in the mai mai.

I have 2 pairs of these right now and the Peltor "tac-6" ones as well

Peltors fit nicer and I got the neckband rather than headband ones so you can wear a hat or whatever more comfortably with them, the electronics in the Howard Leights work better and they only have 1 on/off switch and they have an aux input so you can listen to some nice relaxing music while murdering helpless animals

Sounds good then gimp... how many pairs you want?

Even if one person is keen then I will put an order in as I'll be able to save $15-20 NZD. Otherwise if I order a single pair it'll cost me around $90 rather than $75 ish.

Real guns start with the number 3 or bigger and make two holes, one in and one out

Pretty good deal. The same muffs from Brownells are $49.99 dealer price or $59.99 regular price. + postage which is bound to be about $30.

I hope the shipping prices are correct - I got them off Aaron B off the 'other forum'.

Right so all five pairs are accounted for.

I mentioned this group buy on the other forum to gauge interest - I got another 5 people keen - but my loyalties are now with this forum.

Will update thread and PM those involved later this morning once I make the order.
