    Electronic target scoring systems

    Hi,

I am after some advice, information or direction regarding electronic target scoring systems suitable for NRA styled competitions.

Like many small clubs out there our funds are limited to an extent, so purchasing items like does require a bit of research. As a result I have been tasked to find out what is currently available in both the domestic market and what can be sourced from overseas.

    Any advice greatly appreciated.

You might try Rika or Sius-ascor. The latter supply most of the ISSF systems for Olympics etc. They are very good, but by no means cheap. The running target machine I shot on at Horsley Park in Syndey back in '99/2000 cost AU$17000.

Their Swiss Gunnery system is probably close to what you're after.

10MRT shooters do it 60 times, in two directions and at two speeds.

Contact Tony Loughlan at the link below.
    LHTDesign Structural Engineer Hawkes Bay

Tony is quite involved in Full Bore Rifle Shooting, is Qualified to Certify Rifle & Pistol Ranges and I believe has installed an electronic target system at the Okawa Rifle Club Range here in Hawkes Bay.

    Cheers

    Bugger me!

    I didn't know that.

Was probably two years ago when I saw him last.
