    Film 20: Point of Impact

Points to whoever guesses what the title is a reference to. Film of checking 100m zero and velocity on the .260 Finnlight after cycling from new, unsized brass to FL sized fired brass. Also checking the longer range trajectory quickly. Will need to tune the load a little in the fireformed brass I think, but it is adequate for now.

Are you referring to the POI change when using the magneto? So no point trying for a group when checking mv?

Well I'm impressed Gimps###. Your .260 is well tuned, just as it should be. Even though my own is shorter in the tube department it produces very tight groups, shoots better than I really need.
    Cheers.

@gimp, Point of Impact is the title of the book, written by Stephen hunter that the movie Shooter is based upon.

Yes, and in the movie the protagonist shoots a can of stew at long range. A ridiculously tenuous pop culture allusion

I probably don't need mine to shoot fantastically either, of the last half dozen deer/chamois I have shot, only one was over 300 meters.

The .260 is going to be visiting some old haunts of yours over the next 2.5 weeks...

Yes and it did not come out of the book. Like many films the book series is much better.

    Still a nice shot though!

I figured you noticed but your rifle jumps a little when you shoot off the bipod - didn't look like you came straight back onto the target naturally. This is likely contributing to your groups?
