    Film: Blaser longrange

Not sure if this should be under shooting or rifle section, but anyway...

Been shooting the Blaser beyond 1000 meters a fair bit lately, the 6,5mm works there too and a standard production rifle does the job there as well. No way to "proof" it on the film, but these are the first shots. Forgot to load the camera battery properly (for the camera with the zoom) so it was cut a bit short.

Norway what is with the tiny little cup? I would have had a bloody great big mug!
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

It is a folding cup. In my climate a big cup just looses the heat before you can drink up, so better to help yourself several times to steaming brew. Drinking cold drinks is a bad idea here; retain and add whatever heat you can when outdoors.

Would be interesting to see the impact more clearly, with camera on spotting scope or something?

Why is watching bullets hitting far away target so addictive? its sort of mesmorizing like watching deer feeding or cars going sideways.

Thermos is nice. I take it to the range, but don't hike that weight.

You worked in a freezer? You'll enjoy our summers then

A friend has one of those rubber fold up cups, bloody handy, he keeps it in his pocket when bush hunting & uses it at creeks he comes across.
Shut up, get out & start pushing!

If he can't lower himself (physically), he could just stand under a water fall with his mouth open!
