Thread: Gisborne Range

Just wondering if any of you friendly folks might know of anywhere you are able to sight in a rifle/shoot near Gisborne.

The usual unofficial range is closed for lambing with rumors that it might not open up again.

I've contacted most of the local forestry companies to no avail and tried HRC and hunting and fishing but they both use the closed range.

Isn't there an nzda range?

no nzda range in gisborne, no nzda in gisborne ether. @kickinwings years ago i remember them using the matokitoki valley quarry but probably to many houses there now and i wouldn't have a clue who owns it

Yep no nzda in Gisborne. The quarry might be a bit of a longshot, there's a fair few people up there now.
