The best that I can manage so far is a 30mm spread at 100 yards with my 308 off a bipod.
30mm at 100 yards, what type of rifle? as that's not to shabby a group if its a stock rifle with commercial ammo. I would be happy if my FR8 did 2moa-I would be bloody happy!!! Your shooting of a bipod as well. Try a rest if you want to see what your rifle is capable off. Unless you have a target rifle I would be damned pleased with those groups especially if its consistent!

You are shooting at close to MOA

    Cheers

its a std Remmy 700 ,although it is an R5, using BVAC 168 gr Amaxs, which is made from recycled brass.

So far I've only had a 3-9 Redfield, may need something with more magnification for my reumy old eyes.

Are we writing of the Mauser lock, German barrel, Spanish FR8 of the 50's?
Just curious as I have one, but hear so little mention of them.

Yes that's the very one! The cetme barrel. Very rare around here I reckon. Nice in handy. Have you looked inside of the cleaning kit tube/bayonet support tube-some guys find interesting things inside. Mine just smelled of tobacco as that is where the Spanish soldiers kept there bacco and pics of there girlfriends.

If it shot as well as Dedubyah's Remmy I would be very happy!

    Here's a couple of pics.
