Someone had taken a rasp and sandpaper to the stock (BSA majestic) and thinned the but down till it was about a finger wide. It had also had the barrel shortened. In .270 the thin but stock and hard but pad produced a distinct "cutting" effect that was truly excruciating.
Later is tried to kill another forum member in a reloading related disaster. The barrel was also on sideways.
Just an evil gun.
