    I have a 308 case from a box of winchester factory, that is headstamped 243 win. Contacted them and they said that after the first anneal cases for 243 are taken off the main line head stamped then go to neck forming etc. Mine must have been taken off or fallen off the line and been replaced on the wrong conveyor.
