The Federal Gold Medal is $65.00 per box making them $3.25 per round so $1.58 more than the consumables without time factored in.

My current thoughts are that my time with family (while not reloading) is far more precious to me than the saving. If this long range stuff really grabs me then I may need to do as you guys are saying but for the moment my initial intention is to have fun.
