Well, I'm back at the range this Sunday coming. I've loaded up groups of 3x 6.5 mm SAUM cartridges, starting off with the bullet touching the lands, then worked back in .005 increments up to .045.

I've also loaded up with Retumbo to see how that performs as a large number of 6.5 mm SAUM users are having great success using this powder and I am also trialing Superformance as well. That is going to be very interesting to see how it goes as it doesn't always work in every cartridge.

Only one way to find out if course.

2225 is the powder to use with 140s in the 6.5 Saum.

    I use RL 33 in my 6.5 Saum Imp & 6.5 Wsm.

SP will be too fast & you will end up with the same problem that the 6.5-284s have, a fast aggressive powder destroying the throat prematurely....
Contact me for reloading components, brass, projectiles, powder, primers, etc
