Evening all,

That's a good question, just started some load development with them today in my Blaser 6.5x55, Blasers seem to like a bit of a jump, once I'd settled on a powder charge, I tried 10, 20,30, 40, 50", 30" off was the best, going to shoot some more groups tomorrow at that.
I have mine .02" off but to tell you the truth I could barely find any real difference between all depths I tried. They all work well.
My sako 260 certainly likes these projectiles. Shooting real well at 30 thou and 45 off lands....

Mine are sitting about 0.13 off lands currently, but that was only during initial run in test. Next step is playing around with seating depth, currently getting 3 shot groups hovering around 0.599 - 0.822 MOA.
Definitely a bit sensitive to seating depth in my rifle, 30" & they tighten up nicely, just need to chrony them now.

Well, I'm back at the range this Sunday coming. I've loaded up groups of 3x 6.5 mm SAUM cartridges, starting off with the bullet touching the lands, then worked back in .005 increments up to .045.
I've also loaded up with Retumbo to see how that performs as a large number of 6.5 mm SAUM users are having great success using this powder and I am also trialing Superformance as well. That is going to be very interesting to see how it goes as it doesn't always work in every cartridge.
Only one way to find out if course.
Thanks Greg.
Correct me if I'm wrong, is Retumbo the same as 2225?
How has RL33 worked in the standard 6.5mm SAUM?
Cheers,
Michael.
Greg,
Just out of interest, any indications on speed likely using Superformance? I don't have Quickload so can't get a ball park indication.
Cheers,
Michael.
Can any of you guys tell me the length of the 143 eldx from where the boat tail meets the bearing surface to the tip please.
