Thread: Hornady Leverolution ammo

Thought I would post yesterdays effort on the local farm range .I have a Marlin 336 in 30-30 with a Leupold FX-3 6x42 scope on it .Had to put scope on it as a few years ago I had a piercing eye injury and they removed the lens and put a plastic one in ,its my shooting eye and is still a bit blurry so need all the help I can get .Anyway have ben useing the Hornady Leverolution ammo basically since it hit the market and I am rapt to say the least .I had fooled around with how the scope was set up so needed to sight it back .These were the first three shots

If I shoot it in for 1inch high at 100 mtrs it shoots 2 inchs low at 200 mtrs which is more than enough for anything I do and the ammo is very consistent .Anyone with a lever should try them IMO

Bloody nice shooting

I've tried a few in the 357Mag, but only with open sights and from a standing position at 50m and could hit the barn door OK. Maybe not the best test for shooter, ammo or rifle, but bloody good fun.

Yep got a marlin 336c been using the leverloution stuff bloodly top notch stuff have stocked up on it
