Thread: Hornady Precision Hunter Question

    The others were all 20" barrels, so should expect to loose 25-50fps velocity per inch of barrel from the 24" test barrel.
    Box say 2770 for 24"barrel. so for a 20" barrel 2570-2670 would be the expected velocity.

    Then some are faster than others, worn throat etc, over my head.

    That measurement was taken from the first 3-5 rounds the barrel had through it. Not sure if that makes a difference?

    possibly will make it slower as the "rough spots'' as such havent worn down smooth yet.... you often see folks say barrels will speed up a bit as they get a few rounds down the tube...

    It's still really new so will put more rounds through her and see how she goes
