Thread: How to calculate shooting angle?

The context of the OP was to shoot in a predictable & repeatable manor, at range and at a fair angle. As opposed to just good enough.
A better analogy would be trying to use the brace and bit to bore a hole in high tolerance machined part, rather than using a mill.
I’m all for workflow simplicity, but the comparison hand drilling bridge timbers is not a great one.
